Looking to drive the ball long and straight off the tee? Check out these three tips from two-time major winner Greg Norman.

In an archival instruction feature from GOLF Magazine, Greg Norman detailed his three key swing adjustments for hitting long and straight drives. After experiencing a career slump in 1991, Norman teamed up with coach Claude "Butch" Harmon to rebuild his swing mechanics. The overhaul aimed to minimize reliance on timing and enhance control under pressure.
Norman's three primary keys include utilizing a semi-strong "intermesh" grip, establishing an extra-wide stance measured shoulder-width at the inside heels, and rotating the hips instead of sliding. These fundamental changes eliminated his tendency to push shots to the right and promoted a powerful, repeatable draw.
