World Golf Hall of Famer Vijay Singh captured his first win in three years on Sunday, just days after his caddie had "fired" him.

Vijay Singh won the PGA Tour Champions SAS Championship just days after his former caddie fired him on Tuesday. The 63-year-old teamed up with former caddie Wayne De Haas, who had recently lost his job on the Korn Ferry Tour, to secure a two-shot victory over Ernie Els at Prestonwood Country Club.
Closing with a final-round 69, Singh earned his first victory in over three years and his sixth career PGA Tour Champions title. Singh credited the win to a rededication to his practice routine and praised De Haas's familiarity on the bag as he climbed to 33rd in the Schwab Cup standings.
