Shortly after news of Jon Rahm's departure from LIV Golf broke, another report claimed last week's DP World Tour winner would be leaving, too.

Adrian Meronk reportedly has no intention of extending his contract with LIV Golf for its proposed LIV 2.0 relaunch, according to Eurosport journalist Jacek Person. The report follows the official announcement that Jon Rahm will not participate in LIV 2.0 after his legal team labeled the proposed terms unacceptable in bankruptcy court.
Meronk recently earned a two-shot victory at the 2026 Alfred Dunhill Links Championship, securing playing status on the DP World Tour through 2028. Following the Saudi Arabian Public Investment Fund pulling funding and LIV filing for bankruptcy, other prominent players including Sergio Garcia have also taken steps to terminate their contracts.
