Phil Mickelson's former caddie, Jon Yarbrough, has landed on the bag of Ben Griffin. On Thursday, Griffin eplained the new partnership.

Phil Mickelson's former caddie, Jon Yarbrough, has returned to the PGA Tour to carry the bag for Ben Griffin. The partnership debuted at the VidantaWorld Mexico Open, where Griffin opened with a seven-under 64. Yarbrough had previously worked for Mickelson on the LIV Golf circuit beginning in 2024 before Mickelson stepped away from the public eye in 2026 due to personal struggles.
Griffin hired Yarbrough after mutually parting ways with Alex Ritthamel, his caddie of four and a half years. During their time together, Griffin secured three PGA Tour victories in 2025 and climbed into the world top 10. Griffin praised Yarbrough's calm demeanor and exceptional green-reading skills after their first official tournament round together in Mexico.
