Jon Rahm sacrifices a reported $100m (£75m) still owed to him by LIV Golf to secure his exit from the league.

Jon Rahm has reached a separation agreement to leave LIV Golf, sacrificing an estimated £75m owed from his contract to secure a complete economic walk-away. The league previously filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection after Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund withdrew funding. Although LIV pursued restructuring financing, Rahm deemed the proposed terms unacceptable.
Under the agreement, Rahm retains the rights to his team name, Legion XIII, with restrictions on using it in Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy's TGL. Rahm holds DP World Tour membership, which could provide a potential pathway back to the PGA Tour.
