Rory McIlroy is competing in the DP World Tour's Indian Championship this week in New Delhi.
Rory McIlroy stated that he would vote to welcome LIV Golf players back to the PGA Tour under certain conditions. Speaking while competing at the DP World Tour's Indian Championship in New Delhi, McIlroy suggested that bringing players back into the fold would be beneficial for professional golf amid uncertainty surrounding LIV Golf's future.
McIlroy also contended that LIV Golf wasted significant financial investments and reflected on his own choice with Tiger Woods to remain loyal to the PGA Tour. His comments arrive alongside decisions from DP World Tour CEO Guy Kinnings to restrict LIV players from European circuit membership and Ryder Cup eligibility in 2027.
