TaylorMade has introduced its new Spider Tour Torched putter family for 2026, featuring a distinctive bronze PVD finish and updated head designs. The series aims to enhance stability and forgiveness, building on the established success of the Spider line, with a focus on refined alignment and feel technologies. This expansion includes familiar and new head shapes, catering to diverse putting strokes.
The new Spider Tour Torched models incorporate a durable PVD finish, drawing inspiration from Rory McIlroy’s custom putter, which achieved its bronze hue through a torching process. This retail-ready finish offers a similar aesthetic without the durability concerns of the original method. The putters maintain a high Moment of Inertia (MOI) design for stability and forgiveness, with weight distributed to the perimeter via an updated sole plate.
Key technologies include the True Path alignment system, designed for clear targeting, and the Pure Roll insert, made from white TPU with 45-degree grooves to promote forward roll and reduce skidding. A Hybrar Echo Dampener behind the insert further refines sound and feel upon impact. TaylorMade offers familiar head shapes like the Spider Tour and Spider Tour X, alongside new Spider Tour V and Spider Tour F designs, providing varied looks and alignment options. These new shapes also feature different Centre of Gravity (CG) placements to suit diverse putting strokes, with the Spider Tour V offering a more blade-like feel.

These are putters that belong in the hands of the best players inthe world, and they’re proving it every week.” This launch reinforces TaylorMade’s position in the mallet putter market, with models like the Spider Tour X already seeing PGA Tour usage, including by Lucas Glover.
