Andrew Davidson is lovingly called “Blandy.” But he’s anything but, and he’s one of the players in next week’s Bridges Cup.

Scottish mid-amateur golfer Andrew Davidson, nicknamed 'Blandy' during college for shooting eight consecutive even-par rounds, is set to compete in the Bridges Cup at Trump Turnberry. The 32-year-old was selected as one of 12 players representing the International side against the American team in Scotland.
Beyond mid-amateur competition, Davidson manages his family's Robinson Crusoe fishing company near St. Andrews. His extensive golf background includes representing Scotland internationally and caddying for University of Stirling teammate Laird Shepherd during the 2022 Masters at Augusta National.
