Tony Romo played in a Korn Ferry Tour pre-qualifier tournament last week. It ended for him not with a score, but with an odd disqualification.

Former Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo was disqualified from a Korn Ferry Tour pre-qualifying tournament at the Club at Forest Ridge after signing an incorrect scorecard. Playing in the final round on October 2, Romo signed for a 74, but officials determined he actually made bogeys on the 16th and 17th holes rather than the par fours recorded on his card.
PGA Tour rules official Rob Keller confirmed the disqualification followed a review of the round and discussions with playing partners Brandon Rice and Ethan Smith. The event coincided with CBS Sports announcing Romo's departure as lead NFL analyst, and Keller noted Romo accepted full responsibility for the scoring mistake.
