Ben Silverman took a leaf out of Tony Finau's book, with the Canadian implementing a hockey-style grip to his putter at Port Royal Golf Course…

PGA Tour professional Ben Silverman has introduced a unique hockey-style putter grip during the Butterfield Bermuda Championship at Port Royal Golf Course. Silverman adopted the grip after seeing fellow tour pro Tony Finau use a similar model from Caliber Golf at the Biltmore Championship. Entering the week ranked 143rd in the FedExCup Fall standings, the 38-year-old Canadian found success early in the event, sitting in a tie for third at the halfway stage.
The conforming grip extends just inches above the putter head and features flat sides intended to enhance stability and limit wrist movement. Silverman praised the rapid turnaround from Caliber Golf and noted how naturally the flat design fits into his palms, expressing satisfaction with his putting performance over his opening competitive rounds with the new setup.
