Wyndham Clark enters the final round of the 2026 RBC Canadian Open just two shots from the lead. Following a third-round 63, he is positioned to challenge leader Jackson Suber for what would be his second victory in three starts.
Suber holds the top spot at 13-under par, one stroke ahead of Bud Cauley. Clark is part of a four-way tie for third place at 11-under, a group that also includes England’s Tommy Fleetwood. Clark’s bogey-free 63 was the low round of the day Saturday and vaulted him up the leaderboard after he began the day six shots back. His recent form includes a win and a T3 finish in his last two tournaments.
The performance marks a significant turnaround for Clark, who credits an equipment change for his improved scoring. “I’ve actually played pretty solid golf most of the year, I just haven’t done it for consecutive rounds,” Clark said. He said: “And then the missing part has kind of been the putting. Since I switched to this Ping putter, it’s been amazing. Yeah, so now I feel like all the hard work I’ve put into my swing is paying off because when I hit the greens or hit it close I’m actually making the putts, where maybe earlier in the year I wasn’t.”
Due to expected inclement weather, the final round will feature threesomes starting from both the first and tenth tees. Clark is scheduled to play in the final group alongside leader Jackson Suber and second-place Bud Cauley, teeing off at 12:45 p.m. ET. For Suber, it marks his first career 54-hole lead on the PGA Tour as he seeks his first victory.
