Hackett eyes AYDC berth with four drives tonight

Crystal Hackett heads to Cambridge Raceway with four scheduled drives as she looks to secure qualification for the Australasian Young Drivers Championship. Hackett currently holds a six-win lead over Harrison Orange ahead of the qualifying period deadline on Sunday. The AYDC series will conclude on New Zealand Trotting Cup day at Addington Raceway on November 10.

Hackett opens her evening driving Under Arrest in Race 1 for trainer Rodney Dickson before partnering So Mystifying, whom she considers her top winning chance, in Race 2 for Tim Hall. She also drives Claude for Andrew and Lyn Neal in Race 5 and wraps up the card with Aldebaran D B for trainers Michelle Wallis and Bernie Hackett in Race 6.
