8x MLB All-Star Will Be A Toronto Blue Jays Free Agent This Winter

Toronto Blue Jays pitcher Max Scherzer is set to become a free agent at the end of the 2026 MLB season. The 42-year-old future Hall of Famer is currently in his second season with Toronto. The Blue Jays are reportedly in danger of missing the 2026 MLB playoffs as the regular season draws to a close.

Scherzer has struggled this year, posting a 3-8 record with a 6.07 ERA in 16 starts. Last season, he helped lead the Blue Jays to their first World Series appearance since 1993. Over his illustrious career, the eight-time All-Star has won two World Series titles and compiled a 224-125 record.
