Game 4 of the American League Championship Series between the Tampa Bay Rays and Cleveland Guardians was postponed due to rain on Friday night. The series will resume Saturday at 8 p.m. ET at Progressive Field, followed by Game 5 on Sunday. Cleveland currently holds a 2-1 lead in the best-of-seven series following a 3-2 victory in Game 3.
The postponement marks the first ALCS rainout since 2019 and could force the teams to play four straight days through a potential Game 7. Cleveland manager Stephen Vogt had planned a bullpen game with Shawn Armstrong starting, but may now start Foster Griffin on Saturday. Meanwhile, the Milwaukee Brewers await the series winner in the World Series.
