Arizona Diamondbacks News, 9/2: Glove to Love You, Baby…

The Arizona Diamondbacks tied a franchise record with three National League Rawlings Gold Glove Award winners in 2026. Catcher Gabriel Moreno earned his second award, while right fielder Corbin Carroll and shortstop Geraldo Perdomo each secured their first Gold Gloves. This marks the first time the club has featured three position players winning the defensive accolade in a single season, placing all three in contention for Rawlings' Platinum Glove Award.

Off the field, the Diamondbacks face significant roster decisions heading into the winter. General Manager Mike Hazen indicated the team might explore using veteran Nolan Arenado at first base to increase roster flexibility. Additionally, Arizona Sports reported that the organization is expected to listen to trade inquiries for second baseman Ketel Marte after missing the postseason for a third consecutive year.
