The Arizona Diamondbacks completed a three-game sweep of the Colorado Rockies with a 12-8 victory at Coors Field. Arizona jumped out to an early lead with a six-run first inning, featuring a three-run home run from Gabriel Moreno and a two-run shot by Nolan Arenado. Starting pitcher Eduardo Rodriguez earned his 16th win of the season, allowing two earned runs across six innings to bring his regular season ERA to 2.89.

Lars Nootbaar, Geraldo Perdomo, and Arenado all recorded three hits, while James McCann added two hits including a home run. Colorado scored six runs across the seventh and eighth innings against Dennis Santana and Taylor Clarke, but Kevin Ginkel struck out three batters in the ninth inning to secure Arizona's fifth consecutive win.
