Pitching in his home state, the 22-year-old struck out three batters across 2 1/3 innings during a 7-3 victory over Salt River at Goodyear Ballpark.

Richardson underwent Tommy John surgery in 2024 before the Athletics drafted him in 2025 for a $400,000 bonus. After an elbow stress reaction limited him to four Single-A games in 2026, Richardson is utilizing the Fall League to log innings ahead of the 2027 season.
