Texas Rangers corner infielder Jonah Bride has elected free agency after declining a minor-league assignment on October 3. The 30-year-old five-year MLB veteran spent the majority of the 2026 campaign with Triple-A Round Rock, appearing in only two big-league games for Texas after being called up in August.
Bride batted .282 with 10 home runs and 60 RBIs in Triple-A, but was designated for assignment after going 1-for-5 across two games in Arlington. A former player for the Athletics, Marlins, and Twins, Bride enters the offseason seeking new opportunities as an unrestricted free agent.
