Owen Carey is adding his name to the list of Atlanta Braves prospects that are showing out in the Arizona Fall League.

Atlanta Braves outfield prospect Owen Carey is breaking out with an impressive showing in the Arizona Fall League. After an uneven 2026 campaign split between High-A Rome and Double-A, Carey has posted a .314/.455/.429 slash line through 11 AFL games. Alongside fellow Braves prospects Briggs McKenzie and Tate Southisene, Carey has quickly drawn attention with his standout play in Arizona.
Carey initially aimed to refine his overly aggressive plate approach during the fall season. According to writer Eric Cole, Carey's renewed patience has paid dividends, leading to seven walks compared to just three strikeouts. While Cole notes the 20-year-old still needs development before reaching the majors, his AFL performance indicates significant developmental progress.
