Tucson natives Mason White of the Boston Red Sox and Cade McGee of the St. Louis Cardinals returned home to play in an Arizona Fall League doubleheader at Kino Veterans Memorial Stadium on Saturday. The former Salpointe Catholic High School teammates shared the field as professionals in front of supportive hometown crowds.
White attended the University of Arizona before being selected in 2025, while McGee played at Gonzaga and Texas Tech before his 2024 draft selection. The doubleheader also featured former Arizona player Brendan Summerhill and Nogales native Demetrio Crisantes, as Scottsdale defeated Salt River 10-2 in the second game.
