The Boston Red Sox's second straight Wild Card loss to the New York Yankees reminds them just how much they miss Rafael Devers.

BoSox Injection's Katie Manganelli argues that the Boston Red Sox's consecutive Wild Card losses to the New York Yankees highlighted their offense's struggles without Rafael Devers. Boston struggled offensively, batting .117/.159/.250 as a team during the Wild Card round after finishing as the lowest-scoring MLB team in September.
Manganelli contends that trading Devers to the San Francisco Giants deprived Boston of power, noting his 37 home runs would have led the Red Sox. Devers previously hit 31 career home runs against New York, with 18 coming at Yankee Stadium.
