The Milwaukee Brewers have set an all-time MLB record for postseason merchandise sales, according to a report from Bob Nightengale of USA Today. MLB officials notified Brewers owner Mark Attanasio of the milestone during the team's historic run. Merch sales surged after Milwaukee swept the Los Angeles Dodgers to secure the National League pennant, surpassing the previous record held by the 2022 Philadelphia Phillies by about 5%.
On the field, Milwaukee holds a 2-0 World Series lead over the Tampa Bay Rays following a 5-4 victory in Game 2. Sal Frelick tied the game with a sixth-inning home run, Cooper Pratt drove in the go-ahead run in the seventh, and Aaron Ashby closed out the win. Game 3 will take place Monday at Tropicana Field.
