Coach Ben Johnson spoke to the media Wednesday about the passing game performing at a high level, Jeffery Simmons’ impact and more.

Chicago Bears head coach Ben Johnson addressed the media on Wednesday, highlighting five key updates following the team's Monday night victory over the Seattle Seahawks. Johnson praised the passing offense under quarterback Caleb Williams, who has guided Chicago to three consecutive wins since returning from a hamstring injury. He also commended newly acquired defensive tackle Jeffery Simmons for making an immediate impact both on and off the field during his debut.
Johnson noted that reviving the ground attack remains a priority ahead of Sunday night's game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, despite D'Andre Swift leading the NFL with 10 rushing touchdowns. On the injury front, defensive tackle Kentavius Street was placed on injured reserve with a knee injury, while left tackle Braxton Jones underwent knee surgery, leaving both linemen likely sidelined for the remainder of the season.
