Chicago Cubs center fielder Pete Crow-Armstrong and third baseman Alex Bregman won Gold Glove Awards on Sunday night. Crow-Armstrong secured his second consecutive Gold Glove, while Bregman earned his second overall and became the Cubs' first third baseman to win since Ron Santo in 1968. Shortstop Dansby Swanson, left fielder Ian Happ, and right fielder Seiya Suzuki were also finalists at their positions.
The accolades reinforced the Cubs' status as MLB's top defensive team in 2026. The club led the league in major defensive metrics, recording 73 Outs Above Average and 115 Defensive Runs Saved. Crow-Armstrong also generated a 10.6 fWAR, bolstering his case for NL MVP.
