The Story in 60 Seconds

South Side Sox ranked third baseman Mario Camilletti as the Chicago White Sox organization's No. 95 prospect for 2027. Selected in the eighth round of the 2022 MLB draft out of Central Michigan, the 27-year-old spent the 2026 season with Triple-A Charlotte, batting .263 with nine home runs, 53 RBIs, and a .383 on-base percentage across 113 games.

Writer Brett Ballantini noted that Camilletti's offensive production benefited from playing in Charlotte's hitter-friendly home ballpark. However, Ballantini argued that Camilletti faces an unlikely path to a major league call-up given Chicago's infield depth, projecting him to return to Triple-A Charlotte for the 2027 campaign.
