Anthony Rizzo converting to support White Sox playoff run should teach Cubs fans a lesson

Southside Showdown argues that Chicago Cubs fans should follow former franchise star Anthony Rizzo's lead by supporting the Chicago White Sox during their 2026 postseason run. While the Cubs were eliminated early in San Diego, the White Sox have advanced deep into the playoffs, drawing nationwide attention and gaining support from Rizzo despite his long association with the North Siders.

Writer Noah Phalen criticizes Cubs supporters who attempt to discredit the White Sox's achievements due to playoff matchups. He contends that baseball fans across Chicago can celebrate an exciting young White Sox roster after several difficult seasons.
