Despite Chicago building an early 2-0 lead, the Guardians responded to the hostile crowd by battling back to secure a crucial 9-5 victory and force a decisive Game 5.
Cleveland's offense surged behind home runs from Patrick Bailey and José Ramírez before a six-run sixth inning broke the game open against Chicago's bullpen. Miguel Vargas hit a late solo home run for the White Sox, but the Guardians protected their lead to keep their postseason alive.
