The White sox have signed RHP Alec Marsh to a minor league deal, reuniting him with former Royals pitching coach Zach Bove in Chicago.

The Chicago White Sox have signed right-handed pitcher Alec Marsh to a minor league contract that includes an invitation to Major League spring training. The agreement marks the White Sox's first signing of the offseason. The move reunites Marsh with White Sox pitching coach Zach Bove, who previously worked with him during their time together in the Kansas City Royals organization.
Marsh, 28, made 25 starts for Kansas City in 2024 before missing both the 2025 and 2026 seasons due to a shoulder impingement. Noah Phalen writes that Marsh's role is undetermined, but notes he provides flexible organizational depth and could serve out of the bullpen or Triple-A rotation.
