Major League Baseball announced the monthly award winners for September 2026 to conclude the regular season. Kansas City Royals catcher Carter Jensen earned both AL Player and Rookie of the Month honors after hitting eight home runs with a 1.194 OPS. Cincinnati Reds star Elly De La Cruz took NL Player of the Month honors, hitting nine homers and securing a 30-30 season.
Pit Pittsburgh Pirates right-hander Jared Jones claimed NL Pitcher of the Month, and Tampa Bay Rays hurler Freddy Peralta secured the AL pitching award. Colorado Rockies outfielder Cole Carrigg earned NL Rookie of the Month, while Cleveland Guardians closer Cade Smith and Pirates left-hander Mason Montgomery took the AL and NL Reliever of the Month awards.
