Cincinnati Reds shortstop Elly De La Cruz hit his 30th home run of the 2026 season during Thursday's series finale against the Atlanta Braves. The 402-foot home run came off Braves pitcher Tyler Mahle during a third inning where Cincinnati turned a 4-2 deficit into a 5-4 lead.
De La Cruz entered the game with 29 home runs and 29 stolen bases on the year. He needs one more stolen base to reach the 30-30 milestone, a mark previously achieved in Reds franchise history by Barry Larkin, Eric Davis, and Brandon Phillips.
