Will the Cincinnati Reds' 2027 starting outfield look a lot like the one that finished the 2026 season?

Drew Koch of Blog Red Machine argues that the Cincinnati Reds' outfield in 2027 may look largely unchanged from the group that finished the 2026 season. Koch suggests that returning players such as JJ Bleday, Dane Myers, and Héctor Rodríguez could form effective platoon options, while Carlos Jorge is expected to receive a thorough look during spring training.
Additional internal options include Noelvi Marte, alongside Spencer Steer and Blake Dunn, who are both currently rehabbing following offseason surgeries. With limited free-agent options and the Reds typically avoiding major market spending, Koch anticipates the club will rely heavily on these internal candidates rather than making major external acquisitions.
