The Cincinnati Reds are waiting for an important decision from Emilio Pagán. In other Reds news, Hunter Greene and Spencer Steer were added back to the 40-man roster, and Rece Hinds signed a new MLB deal.

Cincinnati Reds closer Emilio Pagán faces a November 2 deadline to exercise his $10 million player option for 2027. Meanwhile, former Reds outfielder Rece Hinds has reportedly agreed to a one-year major league contract with the Baltimore Orioles after brief stints with Miami and Cincinnati in 2026.
Cincinnati also reinstated Hunter Greene, Spencer Steer, and Blake Dunn to their 40-man roster from the 60-day injured list. Greene will miss 2027 following Tommy John surgery, while Tyler Stephenson, Brady Singer, and Brock Burke have officially reached free agency.
