Veteran right-handed pitchers Connor Brogdon and Carlos Hernández have elected free agency from the Cleveland Guardians organization, according to the MiLB.com transactions log. Both relievers finished the season outrighted to the minors after brief stints on Cleveland's major league roster.
Brogdon posted a 5.06 ERA in 16 relief appearances for Cleveland after signing a $900,000 deal last winter. Hernández, who missed the first half of the season following a car crash in January, pitched three innings across two appearances before being outrighted.
