Former manager Clint Hurdle announced on Friday that he is parting ways with the Colorado Rockies, effective October 31, 2026. Hurdle, who spent over two decades with the club in various capacities, clarified that he is not retiring but rather recalculating his personal and professional journey.
Hurdle famously managed the Rockies from 2002 to 2009, leading the franchise to the 2007 World Series. Since returning to Colorado ahead of the 2022 season, he served as a special assistant to the general manager and briefly joined the major-league coaching staff in 2025.
