The Tigers re-signed a veteran catcher and three pitchers to minor league deals.

The Detroit Tigers have re-signed catcher Carlos Pérez alongside pitchers Wandisson Charles, Marco Jimenez, and Moisés Rodriguez to minor league contracts. The agreements prevent the four players from entering minor league free agency following the conclusion of the World Series. Pérez initially joined the organization in late July to provide organizational catching depth following the departure of Tómas Nido.
None of the three re-signed pitchers have pitched in the major leagues, with each spending the end of the season at Double-A Erie. Moisés Rodriguez recorded a 2.74 ERA across 42 2/3 innings, while Charles posted a 4.10 ERA. Pérez batted .351 with a 1.413 OPS over 12 Triple-A appearances for Toledo.
