Kwan previously caused significant trouble for Detroit in the 2024 ALDS, batting 11-for-21 across the series to help eliminate the Tigers in five games. While Detroit defeated Cleveland 2-1 in the 2025 Wild Card series, Muldowney emphasizes that Tigers fans would relish seeing the Guardians trade Kwan away from their division entirely.
