This ended a three-year streak by the Los Angeles Dodgers, who previously led the league in injured list days from 2023 through 2025. The Dodgers finished second with 2,318 days, while the Cleveland Guardians recorded the fewest in MLB with just 470 days.
Across the entire league, total injured list days increased to 47,699, with overall placements rising to 854. San Francisco saw the league's largest increase at 1,630 additional days compared to the prior year. Key Giants players missing extended time included Hayden Birdsong, Randy Rodríguez, Roman Wick, and Harrison Bader.
