Writer Scott Roche highlights a proposal urging the Houston Astros to trade Carlos Correa to the Boston Red Sox for Jarren Duran, Tanner Houck, and Eduardo Rivera. The suggested trade concept, originally proposed by MLB analyst Patrick McAvoy, would provide Houston with an All-Star outfielder alongside two pitching options ahead of the 2027 season.
Roche explains that Duran would address Houston's need for a left-handed bat, while Houck and Rivera would provide pitching depth. Meanwhile, the permanent trade proposal envisions the Red Sox acquiring Correa to serve as a designated hitter or bolster the left side of the infield.
