Royals catching prospect Brooks Bryan had waited since April 21 to round the bases again after a home run. On Oct. 6, a 442-foot drive to center field at Salt River Fields at Talking Stick in Scottsdale finally ended that…

Kansas City Royals catching prospect Brooks Bryan is excelling in the Arizona Fall League with the Surprise Saguaros after missing most of the 2026 season due to injury. Through his first six games, the 22-year-old hit three home runs to match his entire regular-season total with Single-A Columbia. Bryan batted .296 with nine RBIs and a 1.049 OPS during that initial stretch.
Bryan was placed on the injured list in late May after just 33 games with Columbia. While primarily a catcher, Bryan made his first six AFL starts at first base, continuing to display power with five extra-base hits in his first 27 at-bats.
