Kansas City Royals President of Real Estate Development Brooks Sherman says Hallmark's corporate headquarters will be demolished in June 2027 to make way for their new stadium in the Crown Center area.

Kansas City Royals President of Real Estate Development Brooks Sherman announced that Hallmark's corporate headquarters will be demolished in June 2027 to construct a new ballpark. Situated in the Crown Center area between 25th and 26th Streets and Grand and Gillham, the Hallmark headquarters remains the only building officially confirmed for demolition so far.
The team is currently hiring a master planner to evaluate the surrounding entertainment, retail, and dining district, with no further demolition decisions finalized. Some local residents have expressed concern over nearby attractions like Kaleidoscope, but the Royals still aim to open the stadium by March 2030.
