After Portland builds a seven-point halftime lead, the Lakers rally in second half to move back into first place in the Western Conference.

Luka Doncic scored 53 points to lead the Los Angeles Lakers to a 124-118 victory against the Portland Trail Blazers at Crypto.com Arena. Doncic sparked a comeback from a 16-point deficit, highlighted by a 62-foot buzzer-beating three-pointer to end the first half and a 20-point third quarter. Austin Reaves contributed 25 points to help secure the Lakers' first NBA Cup win of the season.
The performance marked Doncic's second 50-point game of the season and his 11th career game reaching that threshold, tying Allen Iverson for 10th in NBA history. He shot 17 for 33 from the field while adding five rebounds and five assists. In other team news, head coach JJ Redick confirmed Bronny James and Cameron Carr were assigned to the G League for playing reps.
