The Los Angeles Angels announced that manager Kurt Suzuki and interim general manager John Mozeliak will not return for the 2027 season. Suzuki had his contract option declined following a franchise-record 100-loss season in 2026. Mozeliak will honor his contract through December before stepping aside as incoming owners Kroenke Sports & Entertainment pursue an organizational reset.
Kroenke Sports & Entertainment expects to finalize its purchase in early 2027 and plans to hire a general manager or president of baseball operations before choosing a new manager. The Angels will also replace their coaching staff, while Suzuki considers whether to remain as a special assistant.
