The Dodgers and Braves have spent plenty of time in the last decade at or near the top of the National League standings. The two teams met in the playoffs three times, highlighted by a pair of exciting NLCS matchups…
The Los Angeles Dodgers will face the Atlanta Braves in the National League Division Series, starting on Saturday at Dodger Stadium. Atlanta advanced after eliminating the Philadelphia Phillies in three games during the wild card round at Truist Park. This marks the fourth postseason matchup between the franchises in the past nine years and their first postseason clash in five seasons.
Atlanta won the NL East with a 94-68 record and took five of six regular-season games against Los Angeles this year. Braves pitcher Chris Sale posted a strong regular season against the Dodgers, but his exact availability for the early games remains uncertain after pitching in relief during wild card Game 3, while the Dodgers enter the series fully rested.
