Despite an ongoing federal investigation and the sale of numerous holdings as he continues to liquidate his assets, Los Angeles Dodgers owner Mark Walter remains intent on keeping the prestigious baseball club. Walter made his first public comments regarding a…

Los Angeles Dodgers owner Mark Walter stated publicly for the first time that he will not sell the franchise despite facing ongoing federal investigations into his financial empire. Walter confirmed to the California Post that the team will be kept "no matter what" and emphasized a sustained commitment to winning over the next decade. Dodgers executives Stan Kasten and Andrew Friedman, along with TWG Global, also denied any impending sale.
The denial comes amid probes by the FBI and SEC into alleged tax fraud involving life insurers tied to TWG Global. Walter reportedly must repay around $20 billion by the end of the year, prompting him to liquidate assets including the Los Angeles Lakers and Chelsea Football Club. However, reports indicate the Dodgers are not under investigation, and no improper funding links have been found.
