Zach Ehrhard isn't one of the Los Angeles Dodgers' premier outfield prospects, but he spent all of 2026 raking in Triple-A. Could he make a surprising jump onto the Opening Day roster in 2027?

An early MLB.com roster projection for the Los Angeles Dodgers features 23-year-old outfield prospect Zach Ehrhard making the team. Ehrhard, who batted .291 with 20 home runs and 28 stolen bases at Triple-A in 2026, is projected to provide depth, speed, and defensive versatility across all three outfield spots off the bench.
Dodgers Way's Brandon Glick highlights that Ehrhard would offer youthful athleticism alongside veteran fourth outfielder Alex Call. Other internal bench candidates mentioned include slugger James Tibbs III and Mike Sirota, with top prospect Josue De Paula projected to step into a starting role.
