The Story in 60 Seconds

The Tampa Bay Rays avoided World Series elimination by defeating the Milwaukee Brewers 4-3 in 12 innings on Tuesday night to force Game 5. Jonny DeLuca drove in the tying run and pinch-hitter Ben Williamson hit a walk-off single off Shane Drohan after a Milwaukee throwing error opened the door for Tampa Bay's late comeback.

Milwaukee had taken the lead in the top of the 12th on a tiebreaking home run by rookie Cooper Pratt off Ian Seymour. The defeat snapped Milwaukee's eight-game winning streak and denied them a sweep, though the Brewers still hold a 3-1 series lead heading into Game 5 at Tropicana Field.
