MILWAUKEE -- Dodgers right-hander Yoshinobu Yamamoto has been the most dominant pitcher in recent postseason memory, but he unraveled in a rematch against the Brewers on Monday in Game 2 of the National League Championship Series.

Los Angeles Dodgers right-hander Yoshinobu Yamamoto was pulled during a 36-pitch third inning in Game 2 of the NLCS against the Milwaukee Brewers. The early exit marked the shortest postseason start of Yamamoto's Major League Baseball career as Milwaukee took a 3-2 lead.
After a grueling 12-pitch walk to Jake Bauers loaded the bases, Brewers outfielder Christian Yelich hit a two-run single to chase Yamamoto from the game. Yamamoto threw 75 total pitches across the first three innings before manager Dave Roberts turned to reliever Alex Vesia.
