Lewis, Williams head group of Marlins prospects playing in Arizona Fall League

Eight Miami Marlins prospects, led by outfielders Dillon Lewis and Max Williams, will represent the organization in the Arizona Fall League. They will join players from the Braves, Dodgers, Pirates, and White Sox on the Glendale Desert Dogs. AFL action begins on October 3 and concludes on November 11.

According to director of player development Rachel Balkovec, Lewis and Williams are making up for missed injury time, while infielder Carter Johnson aims to gain more at-bats. The Marlins' contingent also features five pitchers: Samuel Carpio, Brayan Mendoza, Emmett Olson, Tristan Stevens, and Alex Williams.
