The Milwaukee Brewers defended their home field, getting some help from their roof, in the first two games of the National League Division Series, and are looking to close out the series in Game 3 behind Dustin May.
The Milwaukee Brewers hold a 2-0 lead in the National League Division Series and will start Dustin May in Game 3 against the San Diego Padres. May has posted a 1.23 ERA with 22 strikeouts across 22 innings in three starts against the Padres this season, split between Milwaukee and the St. Louis Cardinals.
Despite an 8.59 ERA over his last three outings, Brewers manager Pat Murphy chose May partly due to his prior postseason experience, which includes nine playoff appearances. Milwaukee also retains fresh bullpen options, including multi-inning relievers Shane Drohan, Kyle Harrison, and Chad Patrick.
