Brewers’ prospect Bishop Letson tosses best career start when Biloxi Shuckers needed it most

Milwaukee Brewers pitching prospect Bishop Letson delivered a dominant performance to keep the Double-A Biloxi Shuckers' season alive on Tuesday night. Facing elimination in Game 2 of the best-of-three Southern League Championship Series against the Rocket City Trash Pandas, the 22-year-old right-hander pitched seven shutout innings, allowing four hits while striking out 12 batters.

Managed by Mike Guerrero, Biloxi had previously swept the Pensacola Blue Wahoos in the Divisional Series before losing Game 1 against the Los Angeles Angels' affiliate. Letson, ranked as the Brewers' No. 8 prospect by MLB Pipeline, forced a decisive Game 3 for the Southern League title.
